Salvaged wood mosaic (cedar, beetle kill pine, poplar, and unknown species) glued to MDF board. The cedar portion of the piece come from a pioneer's dilapidated fence railing gifted by a neighbor in the N. Saint Vrain Canyon of the Colorado Foothills.
 
The piece represents the tension of the mind, an energy that can make a space feel inescapable when identity becomes tied to thought.
