"The Unmasking" - It has become apparent that I have spent most of my life wearing a mask, or various masks for different people and situations.  While sometimes that is a necessary part of living with others, it can sometimes be a burden causing stress and exhaustion.  This piece is a reminder to myself to bring these masks into the light of awareness and let awareness remove them.  
 
Handmade in 2025 out of salvaged lumber, glued to fiberboard backing board, and finished with mixture of linseed oil, polyurethane, and mineral spirits.
