Salvaged wood mosaic glued to MDF board. Finished with polyurethane, linseed oil, mineral spirits, and polished with bees wax mixture.

This piece explores the internal weight of a stifled voice. Oxidized grain creates a stitched effect across emergent forms, suggesting a self held in place by the fear of judgment.

At the upper left and right, two figures with clenched teeth embody the imagined consequences of being seen. At the center, more animal-like presences remain watchful, aware of the inner push and pull.

It points towards the silence that can accumulate when it feels safer to remain unknown, and the growing struggle with the desire to speak and the perceived risks that come with that.

Unspoken, 15"H x 25"W x 1"D, 2026
