Wood Grain Observation #2  is a salvaged wood mosaic with wood tiles glued to a particle backing board and finished with polyurethane, linseed oil and mineral spirits. 
 
Wood Grain Observation #2 is a subtle observation of a piece of lumber from a pioneer built structure that was crumbling located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains outside of Lyons, CO.
